Tools and Benchmarks

The Laboratory for Computer Architecture actively develops and open-sources tools, benchmarks, and datasets to assist the broader hardware and systems research community. Below are some of our featured releases.

WattWatcher

A toolkit that allows estimation of hardware power on real machines using configurable models. We are currently gauging interest in the tool.

To try out WattWatcher, please send an email with your contact information and affiliation to lca_public@utlists.utexas.edu.

Koios DL-FPGA Benchmarks

A comprehensive Deep Learning benchmark suite tailored for FPGA architecture research, enabling evaluation of novel neural network accelerators.

SPEC CPU 2017 Simpoints

Extensive phase analysis and Simpoint generation for the SPEC CPU 2017 benchmark suite, dramatically accelerating architectural simulation times.

LCA Proxy Benchmarks

A suite of proxy benchmarks modeled after complex production workloads to streamline evaluation and characterization without proprietary constraints.

Open Source Repositories

We maintain a wide collection of public repositories containing source code for our publications, hardware generators, and data sets.
